John Jr. (April 30, 1803 to August, 1867) was the father of Oliver Creswell Houck

Oliver Cable Houck (June 8, 1842 to October 7, 1904) was born in Troft Creek Valley, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.

On September 25, 1862, Oliver married Rebecca M. Parsons. To them were born Samuel J. (July 31, 1863); William P. (deceased March 1, 1866); Susanna D. (born on August 2, 1968); Sylvester L. (born on August 27, 1872); and Emma L. (born on July 14, 1875).

Sylvester Lewis Houck and his first wife, Nancy Ruth Penix, were married in October, 1891 and lived in Rice, Washington, with their son Raymond Earl, who lived until he was eight years old.

After the death of Nancy, S.L. married Bertha Viola Ryker on August, 1900. Their children were Margaret, Leta, Marvin, Edward, Emma, and the twins, Bertha Viola and Viola Bertha. All these children were born in Rice, Washington.

After the death of his wife, Bertha Viola, S.L. married Gertrude Downen (1876 to 1955). Their only child was Raymond Samuel.
